Alice M. Camarigg, 87, of Sun City West, Ariz., formerly of Anthon, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with the Rev. David Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Anthon. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a rosary by the Catholic Daughters at 3:30 p.m. and a vigil wake service at 7 p.m., at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon. There will also be visitation at the church Monday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Camarigg was born Nov. 3, 1909, near Kingsley, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary (Flynn) Franzen. She graduated from Correctionville High School in 1927 and taught rural country school for two years. She married Wayne Camarigg on Feb. 2, 1929, in Anthon. The couple farmed in the Correctionville area. Mr. Camarigg died March 22, 1964. Mrs. Camaiigg moved to Sioux City, where she worked at the Motherless Home for 3 1/2 years, and in food service at Morningside College. She moved to Anthon in May 1978, and to Sun City West in 1993.

Mrs. Camarigg was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Arlos and Joan of Sun City West, and David and Nancy of Rialto, Calif.; a sister, Inez Groth Manley, and her husband Bernard Manley of Anthon; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by an infant brother; and a sister, Madge Waggoner.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Good Shepherd Care Center, 10323 W. Olive Ave., Peoria, Ariz. 85345.
