PAULLINA, Iowa — Elwin "Bub" Wright, 63, of Paullina, formerly of Correctionville, Iowa, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville with the Rev. Consorcia A. Sanchez officiating. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery.

Mr. Wright was born June 28, 1935, in Correctionville, the son of Elwood and Glennis (Lewis) Wright. He attended country school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.

He farmed near Correctionville for many years, where he fed hogs and cattle. He enjoyed fishing and attending auctions. He bought and sold antiques.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori Wright of Colorado, and Roberta and her husband, Bart Miller of Sioux City; two sons, Robert of Cherokee, Iowa, and Lonnie of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Amber, B.J. and Courtney Wright; a sister and her husband, Lois and Don Whitesell of Woodland, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews,

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Jerry and Grant Fitch, Dennis and Beaux Sargent, Roland Wonder and Mike Rabe.
