W. Earl Fullerton, 83, of Correctionville died Friday, May 9, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Grace United Methodist Chtirch in Correctionville, with the Rev. Dee Ann Klapp officiating. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery. Barker Funeral Horne in Correctionville is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Fullerton was born June 4, 1913, in Correctionville, the son of Alexander Henry and Elsie Jane (Bower) Fullerton. He was raised in the Correctionville area and graduated from Correctionville High School in 1931.

He married Betty DeWitt on Aug. 18, 1941, in Wayne, Neb. He farmed in the Correctionville area for many years. He helped in the establishment of the Little Sioux Park near Correctionville.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Rimas Guzulaitis, of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, Rimas, Joseph and Darius Guzulaitis and Tracie Lynn Fullerton; a daughter-in-law, Mary Fullerton of Minneapolis, Minn.; and three sisters, Grace Schulke of Correctionville, Iowa, Naomi and her husband John Wansink and Eileen and her husband Melvin Dawson all of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by a son, John Earl; three brothers, Roy, Albert "Bert" and Clarence "Budge"; and an infant sister.
