Lois Darlene Florke, 66, of Dakota Dunes died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Barker Funeral Home of Correctionville, Iowa, with the Rev. Judith A. Piper officiating. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Florke was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Lawton, Iowa, the daughter of Ellsworth Leroy and Effie Luella (Lewin) Foster. She attended school, in Correctionville. She married LeRoy Florke on Aug. 15, 1948. She was employed at Iowa Beef Processors.

Survivors include four sons, Steve, Stan and his wife Linda, Ron and his wife Pam, and Randy; four daughters, Virginia Waugh, Mary Cantrell, Barb and her husband Steve Terrell, and Aleas and her husband,Clyde Erie; 6 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother and his wife, Don and Leola Foster of North Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and a grandson.
