MOVILLE, Iowa — Jack "Mike" M. Hannah, 72, of Moville died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, in Sioux City.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Moville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold E. Werley officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery in Moville. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Christy-Smith McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville.

Mr. Hannah was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Moville, the son of Harvey Keith and Bertha (Marshall) Hannah. He attended school in Moville. He married Beverly Fulton on Oct. 17, 1953, in Moville. He was a lifelong resident of Moville. He was the owner/operator of Hannah Trucking. He was of the Methodist faith.

He was a member of Winks Sparks American Legion Post 303, the Marine Corps Legion and Sergeant Floyd Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1973 in Sioux City.

He served in the armed forces from July 1948 to July 1952, in Korea.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives, Michael and Jodie of Moville, and Bradley and Kelly of Sioux City; a brother and his wife, Jerry and Dorothy Hannah of Sun City, Ariz.; and six grandchildren, Dustin, Jacob, Braden, Alec, Halley and Matti Hannah.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Albert Schultz; a sister, Helen Keith Hobbs; and a grandson, Brandon.

Robert and Pant Barry, musicians, accompanied and sang "Amazing Grace" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

Casketbearers were Clayton Cooch, Ron Hill, Warren and Brian Hobbs, Robert and Gene Banks.
