OTO, Iowa — Charmal Faye Martin, 68, of Center Point, Iowa, formerly of Oto died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Murdoch Funeral Home in Center Point, with Chaplain Steve Hindman officiating. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs, Martin was born March 15, 1932, in Oto, the daughter of Ralph and Gladys (Beers) Guthridge.

She married Marvin "Jack" Martin July 19, 1949, in Vermillion, S.D. He died July 14, 1988, in Center Point. She was employed with Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, until retiring after 27 years.

She was a member of Solo Parents and Singles and enjoyed her cats.

Survivors include three sons, Jack of Center Point, Rick, and Arpin and his wife, Bonnie, all of Urbana, Iowa; a daughter, Mary Jo Milner of Detroit; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ron; a grandson, Billy Jack; a brother; and her twin sister.
