Edna Rosena Rumohr, 86, of Le Mars died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Larry C. Fett officiatIng. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery at Moville, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars. Moeller Funeral Home in Remsen, Iowa is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Rumohr was born Aug. 8, 1910, in Correctionville, Iowa, the daughter of George and Minnie (Burow) Bottjen. She was raised in Correctionville and attended school in Moville, Iowa.

She married Hugo Herman Rumohr on Feb. 8, 1939, in Moville. The couple farmed near Moville and Kingsley, Iowa. He died May 26, 1958. She moved into Le Mars in 1959. She was employed at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars for many years. She entered the nursing home in April 1997.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Ladies Circle. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and flowers.

Survivors include a sister, Clara Rumohr of Le Mars; four brothers and their wives, Carl and Gladys of Hawarden, Iowa, Elzie and Marian of Moville, John and Marlyss of Kingsley, and Cecil and Inez of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three, brothers, Harry, Albert and George.
