Leo T. "LJ" Eickholt Jr., 41, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. Memorial services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Feierfeil officiating. An inurnment of his cremains will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. LJ was born on March 3, 1971, in Sioux City, to Leo T. and Avis (Dickson) Eickholt Sr. He graduated from East High School and attended Western Iowa Tech Community College.

He was married to Wenona Richards in 1996 in Sioux City. The couple later separated. LJ later married Paula Medbourn on Aug. 16, 2008, in Sioux City.

LJ was a man of many talents working in different facets of sales. He was a creative individual who loved to tinker and work on cars, stock cars, RC planes and cars, bikes, playing cards and listening to music and doing karaoke.

He is survived by his wife, Paula of Sioux City; daughter, Monique (Devon) Titus of Estherville, Iowa; son, Jason Eickholt of Sioux City; grandchildren, Zachary and Domonique Titus of Estherville; and his siblings, Vicki Eickholt, Cathy (James) Gibson, Larry (Helen) Eickholt, and Stuart (Sandy) Eickholt, all of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
