September 05, 2012Bradley E. "Brad" Daniels, 51, of Chadron, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at a Rapid City, S.D., hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Services were held Aug. 31 at First Baptist Church in Chadron. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Chadron, with military rites.
Brad was born on Feb. 28, 1961, in Sioux City, to Bob and Loretta (Ellis) Daniels. He grew up in rural Sioux City. He attended Lawton-Bronson Community School, graduating in 1979. He graduated from Lincoln Tech in Des Moines in 1980 and worked as a mechanic for several years.
He married his wife, Susan, on Valentine's Day in 1981.
After Brad's honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he felt the Lord calling him to the ministry. He graduated from Bible Baptist College in Springfield, Mo., in 1990. and served as a pastor for 22 years in several churches. At the time of his death, he was the pastor of First Baptist Church in Chadron.
Family he left behind includes his wife, Susan; his children, Christine and Rob Clause and their daughter, Alyvia, and Lauren and Spencer Parish; and his sister, Judy Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron Daniels; his sister, Andrea Daniels; and his nephew, Todd Daniels.
