SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa | Randy L. Huser, 56, of Sergeant Bluff passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Online condolences can be directed to meyerbroschapels.com.

Randy was born the son of John J. and Shirley (Schreiber) Huser on Aug. 8, 1956, in Sioux City. He graduated from East High School in 1974.

Randy married Deb Skinner on Jan. 9, 1993, in Sioux City. Randy was a lifelong resident of Sioux City and Sergeant Bluff.

He worked for Gateway until its closing and later for Pacific City Graphics until he became ill.

Randy enjoyed golfing, fishing, and swimming. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Randy is survived by his wife, Deb, of Sergeant Bluff; two sons, Johnathan Huser and Nicholas Huser; four brothers, Dave (Mara) Huser of Sioux Falls, S.D., Dan (Geri) Huser of Altoona, Iowa, Tim (Linda) Huser of Eugene, Ore., and Steve (Diane) Huser of Kona, Hawaii; and one sister, Laura (Jim) Gerrish of Dighton, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley; two nephews, Michael and Kevin; and one niece, Katie.
