Dolores A. Schneiders, 73, of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be held during the first week of August in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Allnutt Funeral Home Drake Chapel in Fort Collins.

Dolores was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Hibbing, Minn.

Survivors include her sister, Patricia "Trish" James; a daughter, Julie Meyers (Rick Arias); sons, Michael (Lisa), Anthony (Debbie), Gregory (Karen) and James (Donna) Schneiders; grandchildren, David, Ben, Kenny, Trenton, Annabelle and Abigail Schneiders, Kimberly (Chris Keith) and Kayla (David Pinson) Meyers, Kari (John) Miller and Katie (Nick) Ramirez; six great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Mary; brothers, Joseph and Michael Walters; guardian, Jack Ryan; stepsisters, Aileen O'Connor and Mary Bowman; and other family and friends.
