Tom Coffman, 34 of Sioux City died Friday, June 3, 2011, at his residence after working sandbagging in Sioux City.

Services will be 6 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1201 W. Clifton Ave., Sioux City. Visitation with the family present will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Thomas W. Coffman was born Nov. 19, 1976, in Sioux City to Thomas Kellen and Deborah Kesler. He attended school at Lawton-Bronson (Iowa) schools. Most recently, he was a painter at Irwin Painting and Decorating.

Tom enjoyed his friends, fishing and motorcycle riding. He loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his sons, Tommy and Nathan Coffman; his sister, Rebecca Coffman; his stepbrother, Zachary Coffman; his grandfather, Darrell Coffman; and the person who raised him, Harold Coffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Billy Kesler and Paulette Smith; and his paternal grandmother, Maxine Coffman
