July 24, 2011Orval Lee "Ben" Cox Jr., 75, of Hornick passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, in Tucson, Ariz.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Evangelical Church, 2843 Hancock Circle, Hornick, with the Rev. Paul Mahaffie officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.
Orval Cox Jr. was born June 9, 1936, to Orval and Norma (Prescott) Cox Sr. in Sioux City.
Orville was employed by IBM for over 33 years. He loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Norma, and siblings, Jack (Lynn), Steven and Leanne Cox. He is also survived by his children, Vickie (Michael) Parris, Michael, Cherri (Tim) Barone and Jeffrey; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
