July 19, 2011Barbara J. Cleveland-Levering of Sioux City died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Ho-Chunk Community Center in Winnebago, Neb., with Bernard Littlegeorge officiating. Burial will be in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation will be until service time today at the Native American Church in Winnebago.
Barbara was born Dec. 9, 1962. She attended Winnebago Public School. She was a resident of Sioux City.
She was a member of the Native American Church.
Survivors include Andrew Moriarty of Omaha, Angela Moriarty of Omaha, and Carmen Cleveland of Winnebago.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Adelma Whitewater-Cleveland; her father, LeRoy A. Cleveland Sr.; and her grandfather, Stanford Whitewater.
Pallbearers will be Norman Rave, Wayne Kelsey Sr., Donald Whitewater Jr., Louie Foucloud Jr., Craig Cleveland Sr., and Norman Nez Jr.
