Elsie Darlene Hubert, 67, of Longmont, Colo., formerly of Salix, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 1996, at Longmont United Hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St.Joseph Catholic Church at Salix with the Rev. Bruce Lawler officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m.
and a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home in Sloan.

Mrs. Hubert, the former Elsie Darlene DeWeese, was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Salix and attended school in Salix. She married,Roger F. Hubert April 9, 1947. The couple made their home in Salix until moving to Sioux City in 1950. They have been longtime residents of Colorado and traveled extensively in operating their antique business.

Mrs. Hubert was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Longmont.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband;Sheila and Kevin McCoy of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son and his wife, Roger A: and Lynn Hubert of Eriej,Colo.; three grandchildren, Johnny Vigil and Christopher and Katie Hubert; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Elsie L. DeWeese of Spencer, Iowa;. two brothers, Bill DeWeese of Denver, Colo., and Gene and his wife, Beverly DeWeese of Nisland, S.D.; and four sisters, Marjoria Daniels of Denver, Mrs.Raymond (Vernice) Feldhacker, Doriss DeWeese and Mrs. Tom (Shirley) Smith, all of Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her father,. C.L. DeWeese; two grandchildren, Jody and Jimmy Vigil and a brother, Glen.
