Moville, Iowa—Lenora Kooker, 83, of Moville died Friday, December 13, 1996 at St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., following a short illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Moville, with the Rev. Harold Werley officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 TO 8 P.M. at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville.

Mrs. Kooker was born Lenora Olson on January 4, 1913, in Des Moines, Iowa. She spent her childhood in Des Moines graduating from a Des Moines high school and later years in Moville. She married Kenneth Kooker on October 5, 1931, in Des Moines and was a housewife. He died on April 30, 1979.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Earl “Fred” and Shirley of Spencer, Iowa and Jack L. and Sally of Storm Lake, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, Rick of Denver, Colo., Todd and Greg of Spencer, Mike of Pella, Iowa, Beth Brockshus of Spencer, Stacey Wilson of Prairie City, Iowa, Kelly Neu of Japan, Joe of Searsboro, Iowa, Mark of Des Moines, Jeff of Seattle, Wash., Dave of Dallas, Texas and Ann of Kenai, Ala., and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, John; and six other siblings.

Pallbearers include the grandchildren.
