Moville, Iowa—Carl J. Wickstrom, 77, of Moville, died Friday in a Sioux City retirement home of a one-year illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist Church in Moville. The Rev. Ben Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City under the direction of the MuCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.

Mr. Wickstrom was born Jan. 13, 1904, near Bronson. He attended Woodbury County schools. He married Margaret E. Dutton June 26, 1954 in Sioux City.

He worked in paper mills in Washington for seven years. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II. Following his discharge from the Army, he farmed near Moville for 29 years.

He was a member of the Moville United Methodist Church and Wink-Sparks Post 303, American Legion.

Survivors include the widow and one sister, Miss Ruth Wikstron of Moville.
