Mary M. Johnson, 77, 441 W. Third St. died Monday in a Sioux City nursing home after a brief illness.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church.
The Rev. Donald Ries will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Newcastle, Neb. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today with the rosary recited by the Catholic Daughters of America at 7 p.m. and by the parish at 7:30 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Miss Johnson was born Oct. 6, 1909, in Newcastle and moved to Sioux City in 1946. She was a switchboard operator for St. Vincent Hospital and the First National Bank, retiring in 1974.

Miss Johnson was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters of America Ave Maria Court 269.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Charles (Sophie) Garrigan of Sioux City.
