Mrs. Mary A. Haddad Kruse, 85, 1113 11th St, died Thursday, September 8, 1988, in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Begley, pastor of St. Thomas Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today with a Trisagion service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Kruse, the former Mary A. Butrous, was born May 13, 1903, in Ottumwa, Iowa and came to Sioux City as a small child with her parents. She married Michael Haddad August 29, 1920, in Sioux City. He died Feb. 9, 1941, in Sioux City. She married Edward J Kruse July 7, 1945, in Sioux City. He died Feb. 24,1960, in Sioux City.
Mrs. Kruse was a member of St. Thomas Orthodox Church.

Survivors include two sons, Amil and Ernest Haddad and two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Genevieve) Gregg and Mrs. Warren (Beatrice) Newman, all of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Julia Moore of Yucaipa, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
