Funeral Services Held For Margaret Petersen

Margaret C. Petersen, 68, of Anthon died Wednesday, May 20, 1987 in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 1987 in United Methodist Church in Moville. The Rev. Marvin E. Ceynar officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Anthon under the direction of the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon.

Mrs. Petersen, the former Margaret Ketelsen, was born July 21, 1918 at Anthon and was a lifelong area resident. She married Chris Petersen August 17, 1952, in Nashua. He died November 6, 1970.

Mrs. Petersen was a member of United Methodist Church in Moville.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Mary) Skinner of San Luis Obispo, California; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Catherine) Sands of Moville and a half brother, Peter Knudsen of Sioux City.
