Lawton, Iowa—Art B Wilson, 84, of Lawton died Wednesday, October 30, 1996, at the Remsen (Iowa) Care Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lawton Community Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert E. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton. Visitation will begin at noon today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville, Iowa. There will be a 7 p.m. Masonic service by Trail Lodge 532 AF & AM of Moville.

Mr. Wilson was born August 28, 1912 on a farm near Lawton, the son of George and Maude (Noffsinger) Wilson. He graduated from Lawton High School, and married Ruby Plumer on September 17, 1933, in Lawton. The couple farmed in the Lawton area until retiring and moving to town in 1991.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Lawton Community Presbyterian Church, where he had served as a deacon. He was also a member of Trail Lodge 532, AF & AM of Moville, the Sioux City Scottish Rite Bodies and Abu Bekr Shrine Temple.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters and their husbands, Jean and William Edwards of Primghar, Iowa, Joan and Michael Brink of Arvada, Colo., and Mary Lou and James Anderson of LeMars; 11 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Faye and Irvin Ludwig of Lawton.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Ethel) Willer and Mrs. Avery (Mae) Willer; and two brothers, Cleo and Wray Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Karrer and grandsons Kurt, James and Thomas Edwards and Troy and Dean Aspleaf.

Memorials may be given in his name to Lawton Community Presbyterian Church.
