7 March 2011SIOUX CITY -- Mary Rose Urben, 57, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Doug Collins officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mary was born Nov. 19, 1953, in Sioux City, the daughter of Laverne and Mary (Hendricks) Urben. She graduated from East High School. Mary was employed at Speedy Auto Wash and in the parts service department at Zenith.
Mary loved to do puzzles and spend time with her cat "Cuddles". But, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Survivors include three sisters, LaVerna Urben and significant other, James Potratz of North Sioux City, Patty Urben and Jeanette Urben of Sioux City; three brothers, Robert Urben of Sioux City, John Brown of South Dakota, and Fred and wife, Maria Brown of Orlando, Fla.; five nieces and nephews, Kayla, Korey, Jeff, Jennifer and Christopher; a great nephew, Boston Beach; and a great niece, Celsey Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, May and Virginia.
