SIOUX CITY -- Sent to heaven on this day, March 3, 2011, Roger Eugene Breyfogle passed away peacefully at his home in Mesa, Ariz. after a long illness.

Roger was born to Earl and Ethle in Calumet, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Walke. After returning to Sioux City, he proudly served as a firefighter. After retiring in 1976 as a lieutenant, he then went to work for Knoepfler Chevrolet until moving to Mesa.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cora; a brother, Jerry and his wife, Gerri of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Scott and his wife, Susan and grandsons, Christopher and Jeffery of Mesa, a grandson, Shawn and his wife, Heather and great-granddaughter, Sophia of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and a son, Michael and his wife, Linda of Sioux City.

You will be missed Dad by many family and friends.
