Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Clifton Domina

Mrs. Clifton Domina, 76, of Climbing Hill died Friday December 24, 1982 at a Sioux City hospital of an apparent heart attack after a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 27, 1982 in the Church of Christ at Holly Springs. The Rev. Richard L. Deemy officiated. Burial was at West Fork Township Cemetery at Climbing Hill under direction of McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.

Mrs. Junior Gallagher, vocalist, sang “On The Wings of a Snow White Dove.” Mrs. Roy Gallagher was organist. Congregational Hymn was “Because He Lives.”

Casketbearers were Messrs. Marshall Ferdig, Junior Gallagher, Lauren Miller, Leonard Muller, Steve Smith and Chester Young.

Mrs. Domina, the former Lillie Miller, was born on January 18, 1906 at Pierce County, Nebraska. She attended Pierce County Schools. She lived near Verdel, Nebraska and in Monona County several years and in the Climbing Hill area the last 27 years. On August 8, 1925, she married Clifton Domina at Vermillion. She was a member of Church of Christ in Holly Springs.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clifton of Hancock, Melvin of Elkhorn, Nebraska and Donald of Sioux City; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Alderson of Sioux City, Mrs. Walter (LaDonna) Rowell of Fort Collins, Colorado, Mrs. Keith (Lois) Steinhauer of Climbing Hill, Mrs. Gary (Delores) Kendall of Omaha and Mrs. Phyllis Pollard of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Eddie (Mary) Arnson of Norfolk and Mrs. Herbert (Martha) Reise of Holstein; a brother, Arthur Miller of Hooper, Nebraska; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
