SIOUX CITY -- Dennis Kenton Thomas Jr., 39, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walthill (Neb.) School gymnasium, with Mr. Jeff Gilpin in charge of the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill. Visitation will be begin today and will continue until service time Sunday at the home of his daughter, Raetahne Thomas in Walthill. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.

Dennis was born Sept. 20, 1971, in Oakland, Calif., the son of Dennis K. Thomas Sr. and Francine Grant Thomas. He was a graduate of Walthill High School. He most recently worked as a poker table dealer at Winn-A-Vegas Casino.

Dennis loved to play basketball, golf and pool. He belonged to a pool league. He also loved to sing, and was a member of the Whitetail Singers. He also loved to play poker.

Dennis is survived by his children, Raetahne Thomas and her daughter, Marie of Walthill, Jaren Thomas of Walthill, Darian Thomas of Sioux City, Jordan Thomas of Walthill, Lenice Blackbird of Walthill, and Zoey Thomas of Macy, Neb.; his mother, Francine of Walthill; and brothers, Erwin Morris of Oklahoma, and Steve Oftedahl and his wife, Leandra of Macy.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Sr.
