SIOUX CITY -- Catherine Kay Anderson, 51, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.

Abiding by her wishes, the body was cremated. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Greg Hanneman officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Catherine was born July 10, 1959, in Sioux City, to Erwin and Margery (Hansen) Scott. She graduated from North High School and received her higher education training at Western Iowa Tech Community College and Briar Cliff University.

She enjoyed doing crafts, working on the computer, but most of all, she enjoyed the company of her cats, Stimpy and Little Girl. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her mother, Margery Scott of Sioux City; her significant other, Ricky Milford of Sioux City; two sons, Thomas Anderson of Sioux City and Ricky Milford Jr. of Pennsylvania; three grandsons; a brother, Seth (Elizabeth) Scott of Sioux City; three sisters, Annemarie (Willy) Petty of Las Vegas, Nev., Joellen (Donald) Haulhus of Topeka, Kan., and Lori Figeudra of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Stephen Scott.
