SIOUX CITY -- Paul D. Fuller, 73, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at his home, surrounded by family.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a time of remembrance at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Paul was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Salix, Iowa, the son of William Fort and Helen Adele (Hall) Fuller. He grew up in the Leeds area of Sioux City.

On May 23, 1957, he married S. Jean Seibold in Elk Point, S.D. He retired from Crouse Cartage Co. in 1986, and was a member of Local Teamsters 383. Prior to that, he worked for Johnson Biscuit Co., Rosenthal Foods and Holdcroft Transportation.

Paul enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sport activities. He loved bowling, watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Chicago Bulls, following Kirk Hinrich.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, S. Jean; four children, DeWayne Fuller and his wife, Robin, Scott Fuller and his wife, Carol, all of Sioux City, Chris Bracht and her finance, Dan Lewis of Hinton, Iowa, and Dan's children, Justin, Keaton and Brenden, and Jon Fuller and his wife, Sara of Sioux City; two sisters, Ilene Lee of Springdale, Ark., and Dee "Pat" DeMara of Paullina, Iowa; four grandsons, James Fuller and his friend, Steve Gregg, Tony Bracht, Nicholas Fuller and J.C. Fuller; five granddaughters, Dianna Tehven and her husband, Brent, Holly June and her husband, Jon, April Fuller, Lynsey Fuller and Allysen Fuller; and five great-grandchildren, Kobey, Jayda, Trey, Carter and Noah.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, William, Charles, Lester, Jerry and Lloyd "Bub"; three sisters, LaVonne, Dorothy and Rose; and a great-granddaughter, Ella Jo Tehven.

Pallbearers will be his four grandsons; a nephew, James Barnes and Steve Gregg. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters.
