SIOUX CITY -- Marsha K. Criddle, 62, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, comforted by family at home.

Services will be noon Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6500 Morningside Ave., with Chaplain Mike Inman of Hospice officiating. Abiding by family wishes, cremation will follow. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with family present at 6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Marsha was born July 9, 1948, in Sioux City, to John and Leisha Marie (Marshall) Bunch. She received her education in the Sioux City Public Schools.

She married John W. Criddle on Aug. 4, 1967, to which four children where born. Marsha worked at Homer Schools as a janitor and a cook for 18 years before her retirement in 2005.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Marsha enjoyed flowers, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She would have been lost without the companionship of her sister's dogs, Tobi and Roscoe.

Marsha is survived by her children, John J. Criddle Jr. of North Dakota, Kevin S. Criddle and his wife, Kim of Sioux City, Kerin Slessman and her husband, Duane and Ann Marie Audas and her husband, John, all of Missouri; grandsons, Cody Olson of Des Moines and Derek Olson of Sioux City along with 12 additional grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Eva "Peach" Richards and her husband, Tom of Sioux City along with their son Greg; and brothers, James C. Bunch and his wife Carol, John Bunch Jr., and Robert Bunch and his wife Loutte, all of Sioux City.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John in 2002.
