10 November 2010SIOUX CITY -- William Leroy "Billy" Brewer Jr., 49, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital from complications due to diabetes.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, with Captain Von L. Vandiver of the Salvation Army officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
William was born Oct. 24, 1961, in Sioux City, the son of William Leroy Brewer Sr. and Mary Jane Bennett. He graduated from East High School. He was a custodian for Goodwill Industries.
He was a loving brother to Mary and Armando Ortiz Jr., John and Barbara Brewer, Caroline Brewer and Jennifer Schmidt. He will always be remembered as the caring, funny, loving and giving uncle to Vinny, Nathan and Samantha Montelongo, Maggie and Frankie Fuller, Christina Brewer and fiance, Richard LaFleur, Johnathan Brewer, Jefferey Brewer, Dale Brewer and girlfriend, Jinx Luesbrink and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Dale White.
