.SIOUX CITY -- Mike Kounas of San Bernardino, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, fell asleep in the Lord's arms, Nov. 7, 2010, in San Bernardino.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Colton, Calif. Online condolences may be posted to www.bobbittchapel.com.

Mike was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Sioux City, to Andrew and Evelyn Kounas. Mike attended Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughters, Suzanne and Stephanie; his grandchildren, David and Mia; his brothers, George, Nick, John, and Chris; and sisters, Sophie, Catherine, Despina, and Anna.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dionysius; and his sister, Nicoletta.

Mike, loved by many, will be dearly missed.
