2 December 2010SIOUX CITY -- Ruth (Lundquist) Thielen, 76, of Brooklyn Park, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
Ruthie's great joy was her grandchildren. She spent much of her time at recitals, ball games and just hanging out with them. We already miss her mischievous sense of humor, but we take comfort knowing she is resting peacefully.
Survivors include her daughter, Teri (Jim); her grandchildren, Corrine and Heather; her great-grandchildren, Tyler and Karsyn; her sisters, Delores Casper and Carole Rodriguez; and her loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Florence Lundquist.
Memorials may be directed to North Memorial Hospital Hospice in Robbinsdale, Minn.
