SIOUX CITY -- Lester Wilson, 81, formerly of Sioux City died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at his home in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory of Sioux Falls is assisting the family.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Diana Jo Block, Peggy Gregg, Norma Sogn, Timothy Wilson, Mary Rose McDaniel and Jodi VanderWiel; siblings, Margaret Tarrence, Vera Ashley, Phyllis Jordt, Duane Wilson, and Carol Peterson; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two children, Larry Wilson and Rebecca Merkley; six siblings, Francis Wilson, Ernest Jr. Wilson, Geneva Marshall, Arnold Wilson, Ina Weaver, Robert Wilson.
