ANTHON, Iowa -- Dr. Frank Owen Hayworth, M.D., 75, of Omaha, formerly of Anthon, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at King of Kings Church in Omaha. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oak Hill Cemetery, Anthon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City, Neb. Dr. Hayworth served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as an anesthesiologist for the University of Nebraska Medical Center at the Veterans Administration.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra of Omaha; children, Brad Hayworth and his wife Kim of Seoul, South Korea, Kurt Hayworth of Norman, Okla., Angela Christenson of Alameda, Calif., Joel Hayworth of Omaha and Colin Hayworth of Omaha; stepchildren, Marlo Dancer of Omaha, Lance Scudder of Fort Ogle Thorpe, Ga.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Dale Hayworth and his wife Virginia of Correctionville, Iowa, Leslie Hayworth of Las Vegas, Nev., Ron Hayworth and his wife Jerane of Anthon, Glen Hayworth and his wife Judy of Kingsley, Iowa; sisters, Bernice Schmidt of Moses Lake, Wash., and Norma Oakes and her husband Merle of Sioux City; many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, Midlands Chapter.
