1 June 2010SIOUX CITY -- Beyrl N. Vanderlinden, 80, of Sioux City passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.
Beyrl was born Oct. 2, 1929, in South Sioux City, the daughter of Aubery and Emma (Miille) Beller.
On Dec. 31, 1947, she was united in marriage to Jerry Vanderlinden. They made Sioux City their
lifelong home. Beyrl worked at F.W. Woolworth for many years, and enjoyed traveling after her retirement.
She was devoted to her faith and her family. She spent much of her time working in her many flower gardens, and making beautiful afghans to give as gifts to bless those she loved.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry Jr. of Sioux City, Robert of Carter Lake, Iowa, and Mark and his wife, Rita of Sioux City; one daughter, Nadine and her husband, Gene Dutler of Ida Grove, Iowa; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Reddix of Pensacola, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; two brothers, Robert and Frank; one sister, Helen; and one grandson, Heath.
