23 June 2010SIOUX CITY -- Alfred Francis Dallen formerly of Sioux City died quietly Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at the home of his sister, Dee Juric, in Bloomington, Ind., following a lengthy illness.
His grandson, Jamie Dallen, will be holding a memorial service in September 2010, in Sioux City. Burial will be next to his parents in Sioux City, with military rites.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane and Rita; two sons, Al and James; sisters, Charlene Matousek of Sioux City, Dee Juric of Bloomington, Ind., Terry Gruener of Martinsville, Ind., Mary Hanlon of California, and Marjorie Little of Washington; brothers, Conrad of California and Mike and Richard, both of Washington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents, Fred and Martha Dallen; a sister, Eileen Emery; and a brother, Larry Dallen.
