SERGEANT BLUFF -- Bettie L. (Randolph, Sands) Ryan, 62, of Sergeant Bluff passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital surrounded by her family following a courageous battle against lung cancer.

Interment will be at the Elk Point, S.D., cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family present at 6 p.m. and a prayer service, with invitation to share memories, at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

She loved spending time with her family, her friends, and her pets. Bettie enjoyed motorcycle riding and reading. Bettie was a proud member of the Rebekahs Lodge in Vermillion.
