Mrs. Christine Flaherty, 58, Carroll Apartments, a nurse in Sioux City for 35 years, died Wednesday at a hospital here after a long illness.

Mrs. Flaherty was born Jan. 21, 1906, at Newcastle, Nebr.

She came to Anthon with hewr parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kuhn, at the age of 7. She was graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1929, and was a member of Cathedral of Epiphany. Her husband, Frank, died in 1952.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Michael Uhl of Sioux City, Mrs. Margaret Eickholt of Anthon, Miss Josephine Kuhn of Des Moines, and Mrs. Rosalie Barnschein of Hardin, Mont., and two brothers, I.V. Kuhn of Moville and Herman Kuhn of Anthon.

The body was taken to the Larkin Funeral Home.
