Funeral services held Friday for Paul E. Fish

Funeral services for Paul E. Fish of Climbing Hill were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 1972 at the First Baptist Church in Climbing Hill. Rev. Edrie A. Regier officiated and burial was made in the Climbing Hill Cemetery under the direction of the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.

Pallbearers were Dennis and Wayne Niceswanger, Lester, Clarence and Francis Uhl and David Goodrich.

Paul E. Fish, 75, died Tuesday, January 25 at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. He was born October 12, 1896 at Dickens, Iowa. He lived there until 1912 when he moved to Climbing Hill. He married Dorothy Goodrich on March 5, 1919 in Sioux City.

Mr. Fish was a heavy equipment operator and he was employed by Woodbury County for40 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Climbing Hill.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Jensen of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Uhl of Sioux City and Mrs. Ruther Niceswanger of Carroll; and five grandchildren.
