Funeral Services Held for E. Beth Schwarz

E. Beth Schwarz, 72, of Oto died Wednesday, September 26, 1994, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were at the Oto Community Church in Oto with the Rev. Karen Handke officiating. Burial was in the Westfork Township Cemetery in Climbing Hill, under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa.

Mrs. Schwarz was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Walthill, Nebr., the daughter of Louis E. and Sadie L. (McNiell) Cummins. She graduated from Moville High School on Oct. 9, 1940. She married Edward J. Schwarz at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She had made her home in Moville for 40 years before the couple moved to Oto in 1967. She was a homemaker, artist and photographer.

Mrs. Schwarz was a member of the Oto Community Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, and the Sioux City Camera club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Schwarz of Kingsley, Iowa; a daughter, Sharene Schwarz of Omaha, Nebr.; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
