Pearl M Tague, 95, of Brooklyn Center, Minn., a former Sioux City resident, died Friday, August 16, 1996, at a nursing home in New Hope, Minn., following a long illness.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christy Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home with the Rev. William H. Steward of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery, Climbing Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tague was born August 7, 1901, in Luton, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Albers) Lines. She was raised in Luton.
She married Reuben R Tague in 1917, in Dakota City. The couple moved to Plymouth County in 1927. He died in February 1942 in Akron, Iowa. She moved to Sioux City in 1947 and to the Minneapolis area in 1968 to be near her daughter.Survivors include a son, Clifford Tague of Sioux City; five daughters, Virginia Meyer of Madison, S.D., Irma Haase of Brooklyn Center, Minn., Betty Stuart of Salem, Ark., and Mary Cain and her husband, Raymond and Dorothy Ream, all of Sioux City; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Ralph Tague.
Pallbearers will be Clifford, Ruben and James Tague; Rex and Rodney Cain and Gary Gundlock.
