Funeral services Held Tues. for Charles M Hair

Funeral services for Charles M. Hair, 88, formerly of Moville, were held Tuesday, December 17, 1974, at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Colonial Manor Chapel at Correctionville. The Rev. Martin L. Mosier of Billy Sunday Tabernacle in Sioux City officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney.

Mr. Hair was born October 25, 1886, in South Dakota. He married Louise Groteke, January 18, 1918, at Gladbrook. She died September 12, 1927. He married Mae Mace September 17, 1931. She died January 23, 1956. He married Lola Berka January 16, 1958, at Onawa.

He farmed in the Moville area for many years. He moved to Smithland in 1949 where he operated a grocery store and café.

He had been a resident of Valley View Colonial Manor at Correctionville the past two months. He died December 14 following a long illness.

Survivors include the widow; a son Jim of Hornick; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Wright of Eldora and Mrs. Mina Schmidt of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
