Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mrs. J.A. Lohse

Funeral services for Mrs. J,. Andrew Lohse, 76, Martin Apartments, were held Saturday, February 1, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville. The Rev. Dr. John A Dowd officiated. Interment was in the Climbing Hill Cemetery under the direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home.

Organist Mrs. Lawrence Roepke, accompanied vocalist, Mrs. Roger Schnaible who sang “Beyond The Sunset” and “Peace in the Valley.”

Casketbearers were Messrs. Dick McClary, David McClary, Riley Fields, Allan Gates, Rick Holtgrew and Randy Lohse.

Mrs. Lohse, the former Anna Schutt was born March 12, 1898, in Rock Branch, Iowa. She was married to Walter Robinson December 8, 1915. Mr. Robinson died in July of 1936. She was married to Andrew Lohse April 3, 1940, in Dakota City, Nebraska. Mr.Lohse died July 14, 1973.

Mrs. Lohse died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Glen (Rachel) Morgan, Mrs. Harold (Alice) Beaubien, Mrs. John (Wanda) Potter, all of Sioux City, Mrs. Dean (Mary) Malcolm of Akron, and Mrs. Wayne (Dorothy) Barto of Moville; two sons, George Lohse of Newcastle, Nebraska and Harold Lohse of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five sisters, Mrs. Opal Peterson of Indianola, Mrs. Lola Varing of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Lettie Johnson and Mrs. Bertha Hvalck, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Glatha York of Onawa; 33 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
