Funeral Services Held Saturday for Wm. N. Mitchell

A former Sioux City and Bronson, Iowa resident, William N. Mitchell, 51, of Anaheim, California, died Monday, November 25, 1974, in Montreal, Canada.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Berkemier Funeral Home. The Rev. R.D. Butler of the First United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Messrs. Larry King, Donald Hanson, Marlin Horsley, Henry Husk, Maylon Chartier and Vernon Rice.

Mr. Mitchell, an independent trucker, suffered an apparent heart attack while working in Montreal.

He was born on December 18, 1922 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He joined the Canadian Air Force as a young man and served for two years. He came to the Sioux City area in 1956 and married Maxine Hanson on March 21, 1967 in Sioux City. The couple moved to California in January 1974.

Survivors include the widow and his mother, Mrs. Henry Wiess of Hemet, California.
