SIOUX CITY -- Margaret O. (Felix) Trometer, 91, of Sioux City died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Touchstone Living Center.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Russell Senstad of Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent online to meyerbroschapels.com.

Margaret was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Climbing Hill, Iowa, the daughter of James and Grace (Ritchie) Belew. She grew up in the Moville, Iowa, area.

She married Kenneth Felix on Feb. 14, 1950, in Sioux City. He died May 26, 1973, in Sioux City. She married Kenneth Trometer on May 7, 1982, in Sioux City. He died April 11, 1993, in Sioux City. She worked for more than 30 years at Stevenson's Clothing Store at the Sunset Plaza.

Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include six children, LaVada Jolly and her husband, Bob of Gaffney, S.C., Janice Dove of Texas, Steve Felix and his wife, Pat of Sioux City, Cindy Wilson and her husband, Mike of Sioux City, Nancy Bradley of Sioux City and Jerry Felix of South Sioux City; two sisters, Elsie Walters of Commerce City, Colo., and Gracie Mason of Alaska; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a daughter, Bernadine and her husband, Freddie; two other infant daughters; four sister; three brothers; and a son-in-law, Johnnie Bradley.

The family would like to thank her great friends, Phyllis Hoyt, Sheila Garvin and Laura Betsworth, along with Hospice of Siouxland and the staff of Touchstone Living Center for the great care given to Margaret.
