5 May 2010SIOUX CITY -- Michael J. Smith, 70, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, May 3, 2010, in Omaha.
Memorial services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Dundee Presbyterian Church in Omaha. Private graveside services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler, West Center Chapel in Omaha.
Michael J. Smith was born Sept. 9, 1939, in Sioux City.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith; children and spouses, Diane and Jon Fulcher, Brian and Michelle Smith, Stephanie and Robert Deleidi; grandchildren, Elise and Tommy Fulcher, Jake and Mia Deleidi, Isabella and Olivia Smith; sisters, Mary Greer, Peggy Reynolds and Elizabeth Schultz; and brothers and wives, George and Colleen Smith and Steve and Jean Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Smith; brothers, Jack, Joseph and Donald; and sisters, Sandra Hanlen, Connie Favis and Barbara Boyle.
