Anthon, Iowa—Gerald B Riddle, 83, of Anthon died Thursday, May 10, 1990, in a Sioux City nursing home.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ at Anthon with the Rev. Brian Beerman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today in the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon.

Mr. Riddle was born Jan. 14, 1907, in Midway, the son of Oliver and Rosa (Brunell) Riddle. At the age of 2, he moved with his parents to a farm at Piero. He married Beatrice Mackey Tanner Nov. 10, 1969, in South Sioux City. The couple farmed near Piero until Dec. 23, 1972, when they retired and moved to Anthon. She died Aug. 28, 1985.

Mr. Riddle was a member of the Church of Christ, Farm Bureau and Lions Club. He was a charter member of Northwest Iowa Farm Business Association.

Survivors include a sister, Fay Henderson of Jackson, Mich. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
