10 January 2010LAWTON, Iowa -- Norman G. Custer, 67, of Lawton passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Morningside Lutheran Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Kevin Lee officiating. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Mr. Custer was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Sioux City, to George F. and Vera I. (Miller) Custer. He married Annette Harrison on Oct. 11, 1963.
Survivors include his wife, Annette of Lawton; sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Jeanne and their children, Isaiah, Christian, Eli and Laurel of Lake City, Minn., James and his wife, Michelle and their children, Cody, Riley and Jenna of Gilbert, Ariz.; sisters, Judy and husband, Dan Castor of St. Michael, Minn.; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Irene Townsend of Sioux City, Loraine Washburn of Lawton, Carl and Nancy Harrison of Hinton, Iowa, and Bill and Ruth Ann Harrison of Lawton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
