SIOUX CITY -- Madison Lorraine Grant-Richard, 5, formerly of Sioux City entered the Spirit World on Saturday, July 17, 2010, in Glendale, Ariz. due to drowning.

Memorial services and dinner will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Monahan Post, 1501 Geneva St., in Sioux City, with Richard Lundy officiating. Everyone is welcome, friends and relatives.

Madison was born June 6, 2005, in Sioux City. She moved to Phoenix, Ariz. She was an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton O Yate Tribe.

She was a happy, fun-loving child, who loved Care Bears. She will be missed.

Survivors include her father, Robert L. Grant Jr.; her mother, Roseanne Richard; sisters, Nevah Richard and Sidney Grant; a brother, Nathan Grant; grandmother, Judy Grant; aunt, Janice Saul; uncle and aunt, Robert and Carmen Wabasha; and many family, friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John and Lorraine Thomas; and cousins, Damon Griffin, Rodney Dick, Devon Thomas, Hannah Thomas, TeAirra Thomas and Weston Grant.
