Moville, Iowa—Kenneth Keith Petersen Sr., 66, of Moville died Wednesday, March 11, 1992 at a Sioux City hospital of complications following heart surgery.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Moville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Orrin T. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. today, at McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville.

Mr. Petersen was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Moville and was a lifelong resident. He married Berthene C. Ensminger Oct. 9, 1948, in Moville. He farmed near Moville until 1974 when he became a petroleum salesman for Farm Service at the Moville plant. He retired in July 1991, and worked with his sons in their businesses in his free time.

Mr. Petersen was a member of Moville United Methodist Church, Woodbury County Fair Board and Wink-Sparks American Legion Post 303. He was a past member of The Meadows Country Club Board.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandy and her husband, LaVerne Crim of Webster City, Iowa; two sons and their wives, Kenneth Keith Petersen Jr. and Lynette and Jeff Petersen and Jody, all of Moville; 10 grandchildren, Amy, Melissa, Jennifer, Kenneth III, Angela, J.J. Jessie, David, Betheny and Mattisen; two sisters, Evelyn Connor of Rock Branch, Iowa and Mrs. Leonard (Alma) Donnell of Sioux City; and two brothers and their wives, Vern and Dorothy Petersen of McPherson, Kan., and Harold and Dee Petersen of Phoenix, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Leonard and Ruchard.
