Frank “Bill” Bryans, 87, 115 Sioux St, died Saturday, January 19, 1991, at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. E. Bradley Carloss and the Rev. Willard Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mr. Bryans was born July 4, 1903, in Ireton, Iowa, and was a longtime Sioux City resident. He married Florence P. Cobb October 18, 1924, in Elk Point, S.D. He worked for Vigen Motors and Bob Tagatz Pontiac for about 40 years.

Mr. Bryans was a member of Westlawn Presbyterian Church and Woodman of the World.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shirley Bryans of Sioux City and Mrs. Lorvan (Phyllis) Hawkins of Ireton, Iowa; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, George, a sister, Janice, and a brother, Robert.
